1. If you don't already have a free google account, you can create one online at www.picasaweb.com
2. If you are a MAC user, please download and install "Picasa Web Album Uploader" from www.picasa.google.com/mac_tools.html

| Uploading Images to Your Picasa Web Album top |

MAC Users:
1. Open the Picasa Web Album Uploader on your MAC and login
2. Click the "New Album" tab and type in the album title in the text field
3. Drag your images into the "Drag Photos & Videos Here" window and click Upload

Do not upload any video files to your Picasa Web Album, it will crash Portfolio. This is an issue we're currently working on and will be addressed in a future update.
PC Users:
1. Login to your Picasa account online at www.picasaweb.com
2. Click Upload
3. Type in the album title in the text field
4. Click Continue (on the bottom of the window)
5. Click Choose File and locate the first image you want to upload to this album
6. Repeat up to four more images and click Start Upload
7. Add additional images to this album by clicking Upload again, selecting an existing album, click Select Album and completing steps 6 & 7

1. Login to your Picasa account online at www.picasaweb.com
2. Select an Album
3. Click Edit
4. Select Captions
5. Write a caption for each image and click Done

You rearrange and add captions to the files in your main Album and not the "_Thumbs" Album

4. Select Album properties to rename an album or
5. Delete Album

3. Click Edit
4. Select Organize & Reorder
5. Drop and drag images to reorder
6. Or select images to delete (hold down SHIFT to select multiple images) and click Delete
7. Click Done

1. Login to your Picasa account online at www.picasaweb.com
2. Click Upload
3. Type in the album title followed by " / " and the sub folder name in the text field. i.e. "My Album/My Sub Folder"

Subsequent albums in "My Album" would be named like this:
"My Album/My 2nd Sub Folder"
"My Album/My 3rd Sub Folder"
"My Album/My 4th Sub Folder"
You can also create multiple sub folders within sub folders; it would look like this:
"My Album/My Sub Folder/Another Sub Folder"
"My Album/My Sub Folder/And Another Sub Folder"

MAC Users:
1. Open the Picasa Web Album Uploader on your MAC and login
2. Click the "New Album" tab and type in the album title (the same album title as the larger image album you are referencing) followed by "_Thumbs " in the text field. i.e. "My Album_Thumbs"
3. Drag your thumbnail images into the "Drag Photos & Videos Here" window and click Upload
Thumbnail images must be the same file name as the larger image file names; otherwise, Portfolio will not be able to connect the two images correctly.
As a guide, below are some thumbnail shapes and sizes that look great in any device orientation.
Square: 75x75 px
Square: 100x100 px
Portrait Rectangle: 103x150 px
Landscape Rectangle: 158x106 px
And for the daring: 320x100 px or 480x150 px

4. Touch "Login"
5. Touch "YES" to Sync Now
6. Touch Start
7. Touch the "X" button on the top-right to close all the windows

If you make changes to your web album, synchronize Portfolio to import these changes and additions.

Problems Connecting to your Picasa Account top |

1. Close Portfolio and determine you have a strong internet connection.
2. Determine your login and password is correct (passwords are case sensitive)
3. If Portfolio crashes while synchronizing, check your Picasa Web Album and make sure your file types are .JPG or .PNG files. Album names using characters otherthan "/" or an "_" may also crash the app.
